Photography

TES clients gain the advantage of having two professional photographers on the job.

Ailsa has been documenting people, places and subcultures since the early eighties in Adelaide. Ailsa trained at WEA in Adelaide and at Metro Screen in Sydney. She then worked as a professional journalist, arts reviewer and celebrity profiler for newspapers. Ailsa has a great eye for detail, composition and balance.

Ailsa's Exhibited Artistic Works:

2018  Aug - Sep

'Copenhagen' for Hit Me With Your Best Shot with BOAA Dark, St Andrews Kirk Church Walls, Ballarat.

It was through her interest in artistic photography that Ailsa met her husband, Laurie Brackley. Starting his career with a photography qualification at ACP (Australian Centre for Photography) in Paddington, NSW, Laurie went on to complete his photographic apprenticeship with Fitzroy Place Studios in Surry Hills, NSW. Laurie has a strong creative portfolio of professional photographic work for commercial agencies, clubs and fashion magazines. He's worked on professional photo shoots from the Maldives to Bali, and artistic shoots in Havana, Berlin, Hong Kong, New York and Morocco.

In 2016 Laurie provided services pro-bono to Creative Clunes, photographing a range of high profile authors and dignitaries at the launch of the 10th Anniversary Clunes Booktown Festival, as well as two full days of speaker sessions across multiple venues. Though Laurie excelled at model and portrait photography for many years, these days he prefers landscapes, foliage, texture and built form. He has an eye for architectural repetition and unexpected perspectives. Laurie also holds a Certificate III in Horticulture, Northern Sydney Institute of TAFE, majoring in Landscape Gardening.  TES engages Laurie to aid with photography when the client brief requires exceptional, fine-grained architectural, landscape or botanic imagery.
